During FITUR MADRID, the finalists at The Chatbot Tourism Awards were announced, organized by SEGITTUR and FITUR. ARTIEM Hotels presented HiJiffy’s AI Chatbot solution for hotels which enabled them to achieve Finalist status.

Last week, HiJiffy attended FITUR Madrid, an international travel tourism show. Amongst the celebration of the hospitality industry reconnecting and the kick off of trade shows, FITUR and SEGITTUR organized The Chatbot Tourism Awards with the collaboration of Planeta Chatbot.

The edition received a total of 12 applicants from chatbots of destination and tourism services. ARTIEM Hotels presented HiJiffy’s AI Chatbot Solution.

Oscar Barber García from ATRIEM Hotels mentions that, “We felt compelled to submit HiJiffy for The ChatBot Tourism Awards 2021. HiJiffy’s impact on our operations has been outstanding. Their solution can make smart decisions for us and automate requests, which saves us so much time.”

During the past year, HiJiffy has automated over 89% of requests for ARTIEM and has produced over €42,143 bookings through the solution. It has achieved a satisfaction rating of customers of over 88%.

The jury was made up of 4 key members of the hospitality industry. The jury consisted of :

  • Francisco Montero Millán, IBM Data & AI Tech Sales Manager for SPGI
  • Ángel Hernández, managing partner of Chatbot Chocolate
  • Víctor Badorrey, director of institutional relations at Segittur
  • David Bueno Vallejo, professor at the University of Malaga and creator of the Victoria la Malagueña chatbot, winner of the first edition of the contest.

Each of the finalist applications has been evaluated based on four parameters: usability, cognitive capacity, fulfilment of the purpose for which it was created and user experience. Given those parameters, HiJiffy earned the title of finalist!
